Submission Info for Life Lines Announcements
Mark your family’s milestones in the newspaper and online with Seven Days. We've been publishing social news in the Life Lines section as a service to readers like you since since 2011. For an affordable fee, you can announce life's transitions to your neighbors and the wider Vermont community. Your contribution will help spread the word and support local journalism in the process.
Once an announcement is submitted and payment is confirmed, each Life Lines submission is published in Seven Days newspaper on the following Wednesday. The deadline to be included in each week's print issue is Tuesday at noon. Announcements are also published online within one business day of payment confirmation and promoted to the subscribers of "The Daily 7" and "Know It All" email newsletters one day later.

Obituaries and In Memoriam Announcements
Obituaries include a print and online announcement with a photo and 300 words for $100. Additional words are 50¢/word; additional photos are $10 each.
In Memoriam announcements include a print and online announcement with a photo and a 50-word remembrance of the deceased for $35. These announcements are also useful for publicizing memorial events to the public. Additional words are 50¢/word; additional photos are $10 each.
Vows: Engagements and Wedding Announcements
Enagement announcements are published in print and online with a photo and 150 words for $30. Wedding announcements are published in print and online with a photo and 150 words for $45. Additional words are 50¢/word; additional photos are $10 each.
Celebration Announcements
In print, your celebration announcement will be published as a display or "block ad" in the Seven Days Life Lines section at a rate of $25/block. If you want to make a bigger splash, consider increasing your ad's size by buying two, three or four blocks — it's a celebration, after all!
